Traveler’s Reviews of the Mom Tri’s Kitchen, Kata Beach, Phuket

Spectacular sunset meal

Rating: ★★★★★

A great sunset setting, great food and service. Quite expensive by Kata standards but worth every baht as a special night out. The happy hour for cocktails was very good value and the service and cocktails were splendid. We will be back!

Wonderful

Rating: ★★★★☆

Had dinner at Mom Tri’s Kitchen on our last night in Phuket and it was excellent. The crab cakes were amazing, and the pork belly with scallops was the best dish I have tasted in years. The children loved the crispy duck spring rolls. Loved the service, setting, the view and the pick up service. It is expensive – NZ$450 for 4 adults and 2 kids (5 starters, 6 mains, 2 desserts) with a couple of G&Ts & Changs. The wine list is extensive, but very pricey so we skipped that altogether.

Absolutely lived up to expectations, would heartily recommend.

Stunning

Mom Tri’s Kitchen is beautiful! The scenery is stunning and service amazing. The food is expensive for Thailand standards but its so worth it. The outlook is very romantic and i cannot wait to return!

Romantic dining at Mom Tri’s Kitchen

Rating: ★★★★★

The location of Mom Tri’s Kitchen was fantastically beautiful and romantic. We arrived at Mom Tri’s at around 6.30pm and chilled at the bar with our Mojitos before adjourning to the terrace for dinner.

We were seated, my partner facing the sunset while I could see the beautiful bay and the crashing waves. Very lovely setting.

The food portions were big, and we knew beforehand. So between the two of us we shared 2 starters and 1 main. That was filling enough actually. :)

If we return to Phuket, we’d go to Mom Tri’s Kitchen again.
